Enrique Cortés is the Latin America Regional Managing Director of Perot Systems. Founded from scratch in early 2007, Perot Systems Latin-America grew 100% in 2008, and a high-growth rate is expected in 2009. In the past, he has been instrumental in the creation of Perot Systems Global capabilities. In 2006, Enrique managed the creation of Perot Systems’ BPO center in the Philippines. He was a key member of the team that negotiated, acquired and integrated the application capabilities in India, which now constitute the backbone of Perot Systems Consulting and Application Services.

Before that, he worked for Perot Systems in Europe, where he had varied operational responsibilities, including the management of very large systems integration programs that were the first to use global delivery models in our company. He also managed customer relationships with key clients in the United Kingdom, France, Switzerland, and the Netherlands.

Enrique’s prior experience was in the telecommunications, capital goods, and mining industries.

Enrique holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, a Masters of Science, and he is a Ph.D. Candidate in Theory of Computer Science. He attended Harvard Business School’s “Leadership in Professional Service Firms” program. Enrique is a published author in the fields of intelligent systems, database management systems, systems performance, and global delivery, and has been invited to speak to forums in the U.S., Latin-America and Europe. Enrique is a member of the advisory board of Tec de Monterrey Campus Guadalajara, VP of services of CADELEC, VP of IT Services and Software of CANIETI Occidente, and leads the IT Services and Software council of Jalisco, Mexico.
